A most generous and thoughtful commemoration of the life and ministry of Rev Gordon Currie was held recently at Grounded, the cafe at the Capstone centre. This celebration of his ministerial commintment took the form that all the proceeds of the sales of lunchtime soup that week were donated to Alba Aid, a local charity providing support to Eastern Europe and Malawi; organised by Bob and Jan Baxter.
The money raised, along with some generous donations, amounted to almost £750.
