World Champion Pipes & Drums for Alness.
Two months ago we had the European Novice Junior Pipe Band Champions on our cover This month we have the World Champions In Junior Grade A. The Ross and Cromarty Pipes and Drums School has come through this season as Junior Grade A Champions in both competitions. What a great a great achievement for a young band and their instructors. Led by Nial Matheson and Nial Stewart Highland Council Piping Instructors and Drumming Instructor Drew Caldwell.
RACPADS were presented with the British Airways Cup in Glasgow on 13th August. The Drum Corp also took the Scottish Champion Title at Dumbarton in July. Drum Sergeant John Wotherstone, a first class drummer, himself a World class Drummer, expressed his pride in the young folk.
Our heartiest congratulations to all involved with this wonderful group of young people and best wishes for the next season of competitions.
