SMITH, Maureen. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at The Meadows Nursing Home, Dornoch on 9 June 2025, aged 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Bob, much loved mam of Craig, Davie and Elaine, mother-in-law of Catriona and Jacko, doting granny of Harris, Cailean, Murdo, Mhairi, Mary-Bella and Ruairidh, a dear aunty to Stuart and Shona and a good friend to many.

 

LYALL, Sheila. Passed away peacefully, in her sleep, at Mull Hall Residential Care Home on 10 June 2025, aged 77 years. Beloved wife of the late Sandy, loving mum of Carol and Alan, mother-in-law of Neil and Audrey, cherished granny of Alfie, Maia, Breagha and Cohen, loved sister, sister-in-law, cousin, aunty and a good friend to many.

 

MACDONALD, Duncan. Passed away peacefully, following a long illness bravely fought, at Invergordon County Community Hospital on 10 June 2025, aged 73 years. (Former Fencing Contractor). Beloved husband of Sandra and a much loved father, father in law, granda, great granda, brother, brother-in-law and uncle and missed by his extended family and friends.

 

MACKENZIE, John “Johnny”. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on 4 June 2025. Beloved husband of Mary, dearest dad to Myra, Johnny, Darren and Chanine. Adored Grampa Joe to Lisa, Sean, Corran, Tayllur, Jordan, Tori, Becky, Graidh, Kaylee and great grampa to Ash, Grace and Jaxson, special father in law, brother and loved by all the extended family and friends.

 

CLARK Ethel. Passed away peacefully, at home, in the loving care of her family on 11 June 2025, aged 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Archie Clark, cherished mam, granny, sister, aunty and mother-in-law. She will be sadly missed by all her family.

 

ANDERSON, George (Edinburgh, formerly Invergordon). Died on 4 June, 2025, aged 79 years, after a long, hard battle with leukaemia. He was a good man, dearly loved and sorely missed.

 

IRVINE, Helen (nee McGee). Passed away, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family on 15 June 2025, aged 66 years. Dearly loved and loving wife, mum, granny, sister and friend to many.

 

SCOTT, Jean. Passed away peacefully, in her sleep, at Mull Hall Residential Home on 25 June 2025, aged 76 years. Beloved wife of Jim, a much loved mum of Angela and a loving granny of Jodie and nana of Daniel, Kayleigh and Alivia.

 

MURRAY Catriona "Trina". Passed away, suddenly at her home on 18 June 2025, aged 62 years. Dearly loved and loving mum, granny, great granny "GG", sister and friend to many.

Hamish Allison - Sheena and family would like to sincerely thank everyone for the sympathy and kindness shown to them following their recent sad loss of Hamish. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff and doctors at Redwoods Care Home, for their exceptional care of Hamish, also to his Parkinson’s nurse, Sharon. Special thanks to all the staff at Mairi Urquhart & Son for their guidance and help with the funeral arrangements, thanks to Rev. Alistair Drummond for his comforting service and visits.
