your community

ACA is run by local people, for Alness — and membership is completely free. Join to read every issue of the Alness District Times online, keep up with committee minutes and local news, and have a real say in how our town is shaped.

A community organisation owned by its members

The Alness Community Association is a registered body — and membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or has a connection to Alness. As a member, you are not just a supporter. You are a stakeholder.

The ACA is run on behalf of its members. Members elect the committee, approve decisions at AGMs, and shape the direction of the projects we run — from the Heritage Centre to the community minibus.

Many people in Alness benefit from what we do without realising that they could have a formal say in how it's done. Membership changes that.

Open to all

Membership is open to any person aged 18 or over who lives or works in the Alness area, or who has a genuine interest in the welfare of the community.
